This 4' diameter globe sign for the exterior of Planet Pool is built of patinated copper and oxidized and clear-coated steel. The pool ball gnomon indicates the globe's location in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The hemispheric tabernacle cover was counter-balanced using a system of pulleys, cables and springs contained within the base. Acrylic highlights were fabricated by hot slumping. The structure is built of water-jet cut solid brass and features a mirror-polished brass hemispherical base.
